Boardcrafter Design v1.0.1 is now available for download. This release addresses two bugs described in the release notes. The old software keys for v1.0.0 will still function for this bug fix release so re-registration of the software is not required.
With the snowboard design finalized from part 2 the next step is to make the snowboard mold ribs that will create the tip, tail, and camber profiles I want my snowboard to have. This is done by:
Printing out the snowboard profile shape from Boardcrafter Design and sticking it to an MDF plank with spray adhesive
Extending the tip and tail to give some working surface at both ends of my snowboard mold
Cutting the shape carefully with a high quality Jigsaw and sharp new wood blade
Smoothing any bumps in the mold rib template with a palm sander
