With Boardcrafter Design’s ability to print snowboard templates at 1:1 scale using a standard printer and the introduction of the free shapes library the need for preprinted templates has been eliminated.

The snowboard templates previously available in the Boardcrafter shop have been removed. The shop still provides component snowboard materials and software registration keys.

Base material is a special type of plastic sheeting called UHMWPE. Topsheet material can be anything from wood vainer to carbon fiber. You can also use UHMWPE for the topsheet. To minimize screw-ups on your early builds I recommend keeping it simple. Get base material and topsheet material specifically made for skis and snowboards from snowboardmaterials.com

You can get breather fabric and peel ply material from places like jamestowndistributors.com. Just type breather fabric or release fabric (aka peel ply) into the search bar on their site.

Hey,

These instuction videos have been great in me constructing my own board . Just wanting to know if the top sheet is the same as the base material? What do you use as the breather fabric? and What do you use for the Peel Ply Material?

Cheers Josh
