This video covers snowboard core shaping using a prefabricated wood core. Prefabricated cores are already tapered at the tip and tail but they still need to be shaped to include sidecut and the tip and tail geometry (or joints in the case of tip spacers). The core also needs an edge relief channel/trench and if the board is capped the core must also be beveled.
