With the snowboard design finalized from part 2 the next step is to make the snowboard mold ribs that will create the tip, tail, and camber profiles I want my snowboard to have. This is done by:
- Printing out the snowboard profile shape from Boardcrafter Design and sticking it to an MDF plank with spray adhesive
- Extending the tip and tail to give some working surface at both ends of my snowboard mold
- Cutting the shape carefully with a high quality Jigsaw and sharp new wood blade
- Smoothing any bumps in the mold rib template with a palm sander
